You can't compare Floyds death or what stemmed from it, to the unfortunate murders of these officers.
This was a ambush attack, by someone who was mentally unhinged, and a criminal who had no business out in the free world. Two totally different things. This mf didn't kill these officers because he was racist, he killed em because he was mentally ill, and they had a badge. There will be no rioting, hootin-and-a-hollerin' from anyone because people have the distinction of knowing the difference between a racist cop, and a 730 perp. HELLO?!?!?!
Floyd was worth more to his own family dead than alive.

Why are you sure Chauvin wasn't mentally ill? I'd say that someone who did what Chauvin did ON CAMERA is either mentally ill or low IQ.

In Floyd's case it had to be racism and in this case it's mental illness? Nice game you're playing there.

Because you read the perps mind in both scenarios.

The perp in the case of the police shooting a few days ago was most likely on the streets because of policies like those championed by BLM and defund the police types. Ideas from those groups stem from the basic premise, when you really boil it down, that black people shouldn't have to face the same rules as everyone else because of past racism in order to even the playing field. When you riot over Jacob Blake, that's basically what you are saying. Every white person in America knows that if you reach for a knife in your car when you are dealing with a cop you are probably going to get messed up and probably shot, but black people can't be expected to act rationally, they have been oppressed for centuries, so the rules should be more lax for them.

His mom said that he was heavy into anti-government and anti-cop propaganda on the internet. Whether it was the "black Hebrews" style of racist propaganda or run of the mill left/ right wing stuff she didn't mention.

and that, I totally agree with you.

and yes, Chauvin does belong behind bars, I absolutley agree.

George Floyd was a career criminal that was high on fentanyl and was in bad health that directly contributed to his death. Chauvin in any other time (including possibly the future when perspectives change once again) would be considered a hero for removing scum like Floyd from society.

The only people who believe that kind of nonsense are those who are part of or close to people in police unions.

No person with a shred of wisdom or decency thinks cops should be kneeling on people on the streets when they are basically completely helpless and passing out. You are sadistic person if you look the other way at that and dismiss it.

Wisdom and decency does not help you when the criminals are ruthless and are looking to hurt or kill you. Yeah, in an ideal world where everybody obeys the law and plays fair, kneeling on a suspect or even being rough with them may not be appropriate but we are talking about the reality of this violent country where cops are regularly killed or hurt by the criminals.

The more violent the country, the tougher the policing. Notice in safe countries the cops are more polite and friendly. Go to the violent countries and the cops there are tougher and aggressive. It’s how things work.

It’s easy for you to sit in your safe warm house and be all moral and kindhearted when you are not dealing with hardened criminals and possibly get killed at any moment on a daily basis.

BTW, I am a very decent and wise but unlike you I am not naive.
