A lot of us are getting our hard earned money taken away by the city government for traffic and camera reasons. Some of us have the brains and knowledge to drive at the speed that is the most logical. Speed cameras are starting to hurt our finances. Is there any possibility we could see speed cameras protests in NYC in the future?

The current population of NYC are all neutered and compliant little sheeps. The working and middle class won’t protest anything. There’s no fight in them anymore.

You have 2 options-

1-Get rid of the car and stop driving in NYC
2-Move out of NYC completely

I went with option 2.

They have started putting red light and speed cameras on the same pole! Speed cameras every 2 blocks. I rarely get speed cameras. Only got 3 in the past 10 years.

It is disgusting. The city's politicians robs the productive to squander and steal the revenue.

But this is what the voters want. I know so many people who don't bother voting in local elections. It is the local politicians who have the greatest effect on one's quality of life.

Before leaving NYC in 2018 I have never recieved a driving ticket in NYC, and I pretty much drove all over the place. If I still lived in Queens I most likely would of gotten a few by now.

Where I live in PA I don't even think I have seen any cameras at all, only the occasional state trooper sitting on the side of the nearby interstate sometimes.

You can buy a reflective spray that goes over the plate and solves the camera issue.

You only get popped going 35+. Too many low IQ idiots who can't judge risk reward correctly and overestimate their spacial awareness ability.

How about just driving 34 or under on city streets? If you're too impulsive to keep it 34 or under, who's fault is that?

Red light cameras are a bigger issue since they've been shown to actually increase the severity of accidents and are a pure money grab in that regard.

Truth is 90% of violations are given to 10% of plates.

Run random plates on the street and you'll see.

Some areas are lower and have 15 or 20 mile an hour limits by schools ..if your foot slips off the brake your speeding …

Now drivers have to take their attention off the road and now watching the road and watching a speedometer

The VAST majority of violations are obtained by a very small minority of plates. That's why most don't care.
