Celebrate Lunar New Year this week with in-person and virtual events.

https://www.brooklynpaper.com/lunar-...ents-brooklyn/

Another year has passed, and so begins the first week of the Chinese lunisolar calendar. Following the cycle of the moon, this year’s calendar ushers in the Year of the Tiger.

Last weekend’s nor’easter may have forced organizations to reschedule their Lunar New Year events, but there is still plenty to do this week and upcoming weekend to celebrate the start of a new calendar year.

If anyone is interested in seeing a recording of the Flushing Lunar Parade this year, you can search for it on ActionKid's Youtube channel.

Thanks. I didn't have a chance to see the parade personally this year but looking at the video, there aren't that many spectators. So empty. In years past, it was full of people even when the temps were in the teens. And it seems like Koreans didn't participate this year. And over all fewer floats. Oh, well. At least wasn't cancelled.

The Chinatown parade will on Feb 20th. Let's see if that will be more attended.
