lol. how many white mayors, governors, presidents in the past have used the n-word and slurs against groups casually in conversation and never had to pay any penalties while in office.... and when blacks and other groups bring it up they are told "that was in the past, get over it, pull yourself up by your bootstraps".... lol
adams immediately apologized for disgusting comment...
giuliani worshippers here give him a pass after him inciting riots where officers dressed in plain clothes help up protest signs with monkeys on them, n-words plastered on them and shouting "there's a n---- in city hall" pointing at Dinkins.... giuliani never condemned it... and he's still worshipped
others who used the n-word have statues erected all over the country.... lol.
I am not surprised by Adams's comments. He was a thorn in the side of the NYPD when a member. One can only imagine if the races had been reversed in that video.
Very true. He was the face of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement "Who Care" in the 90's. He was always holding a press conference railing against police brutality in minority neighborhoods. This was usually after a police involved shooting or other noteworthy negative incident. I had a friend who worked with him in the 88 Pct when he was a Lieutenant there. He said he was a fair Boss and treated all the cops equally (white, black, Hispanic). He got as far as Captain, then retired and became a full time politician. FYI, the NYPD executive ranks after Captain are provisional appointments made by the PC and a certain collection of Rabbis in Brooklyn () So if your not on the most popular list in 1PP, you stay a Captain. He obviously didn't make the cut there.
Now he occupies the big chair in town. The jury is still out on whether he will be able to clean up the stench the previous occupant of City Hall left. This cracker comment is already gone and forgotten by many in the City.
