Politicians hold our fate in their hands

They will save the city

Bring the tourists back and have everybody stop being scared to live their lives

Enough is enough, vote so that we can overcrowd our state prisons

Hell, put them on an island somewhere in the North Atlantic as far as I'm concerned

Had enough about reading about crime

Makes me sick

Sickening.

The only good thing about that incident is the perp briefly took off his mask so security footage got a clear shot of his face so he could be possibly identified. If he was fully masked up, he might've gotten away scot free with no evidence whatsoever.

That and all the iPhone coverage

Only solution is to move and then post about it from elsewhere

Definitely move. Leave the city to those who are more annoyed by talking about crime than by the crime itself. Life is innumerably better outside the boundaries of that craphole.

I have to admit that last week when I had to go to Bushwick and some place on Grand Concourse in the Bronx, I was genuinely nervous to go. I’m losing my stomach for it. Why should I? It’s a lot of money, sure, but is it really worth it to put myself in these backsliding ghettos any more?
