Brooklyn Man Found Shot in the Head Outside His Own Home- Cypress Hills (crimes, neighborhoods)

Probably mistaken identity or gang initiation. The immigrant Muslim community in NYC tends to be very quiet. Let's hope this spurs them to push back against the jungle mentality that's pervasive in some parts of this city.
The wokesters would yell racism if neighborhoods started to take control of their own safety like the Italians, Irish, and Jews historically did in NYC but that's what it'll take.

Isn’t that a bit quick, jumping the gun on who did what to who in this case. Could be ghetto types or easily be a Bangladeshi too.
Besides, some Italians, Irish and Jews who "protected" their community, so to speak, also charged for that "service", and when the payment wasn’t on time, snuffed out members of their community.
July 13, 1977. Approximately 9:30PM. Riding on southbound R train in Brooklyn. Blackout! We are walked back on the tracks to the 9th Street Station. Walk up to 5th Avenue to catch bus. Local Italian youths are out on the avenue with bats, protecting the stores. Get off bus in the 40s. Spend a while sitting on my stoop between 4th and 5th watching local males carrying furniture down the block. In the morning, the proprietor of the corner store was there, head in hands, distraught. They had cleaned him out. He did not reopen.
[Of course the current residents of Park Slope would probably encourage some looting.]

Just yesterday I was thinking maybe we need the mob to come to power again to stop all these crimes.

Did you make a note of the fact that a bunch of people that seem threatening are "a mob", and that organized criminals of European extraction, become "the mob" and elicit the warm fuzzies. Never ceases…
