Makes me want to start carrying a taser. Are they even legal in NY?
No, but numerous NYC residents and people traveling esp ones using the subway are certainly carrying things anyway. No sane person could blame them the way things are now.
Who cares.. Its self defense. Spray and taze away or knock him out with your fists. Who are the judges and cops going to believe? You a law abiding citizen or a low life with a long rap sheet?
A man charged with attacking a woman with feces inside a Bronx subway station last week is out on supervised release, the Brooklyn District Attorney's office said Wednesday. The move came after Abokwa was rearrested in connection with an incident that authorities are classifying as an anti-Semitic hate crime that took place this past fall.
Frank Abrokwa, 37, was arrested on hate-crime harassment and hate-crime menacing charges around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, the NYPD said.
Police said Abrokwa made anti-Jewish statements toward, and then spat on, a 46-year-old man in Crown Heights on Sept. 9 of last year

And Hochul, Adams and the MTA wonder why riders aren't flocking back to the subway system. LOL!
