Bail reform folks. Would have been nice if a judge had the discretion to impose bail. Thank you Hochul and Cuomo.

Until one of our elected betters, or loved ones gets a good manure facial, expect nothing to change.

Welcome to Mayor Adams, New Black City, with no repercussions for any black peoples crimes.
Enough with blaming Mayor Adams for bail reform. The Mayor does NOT have control over bail reform. Educate yourself about how the system works, and no I didn't vote for Adams, but for the love of God, bail reform is a State issue.

Eric Adams is being screwed by his own party on Bail Reform. Only the NYS legislature can change/repeal Bail Reform laws.

That is true, but he still has no control over it, just as Sliwa wouldn't if he were the Mayor.

Yeah. In fact, Adams went to Albany to get them to change it and they flat out refused. It was a pretty contentious zoom conference. I saw it on NY1.

I bet if the perp smeared poop on the judge's face then there would be a different outcome.

This is an unfortunate and horrible incident.

However, I'm more concerned about the bum who is smearing feces into the ears of New Yorkers with half-baked promises, political pandering, and flip-flopping much in the same vein as the bum he just replaced did from 2014-21.

How come they never think of speeding up arrest-to-trail instead of letting everyone out? Surely your average crime doesn't require months of investigations, especially with cameras all over nowadays.
