Of course, but it's been well documented that Caribbean Blacks did not have the same struggles as African-Americans for a number of reasons.

One would assume, however I’m Black though parents are not American and aren’t descendants of slaves, well that’s from tracing back to 1650.

They didn’t have the same struggles as African-Americans did.

That’s not true. For example, Cuba practiced racial segregation before Castro took over.

Also, several complaints have been logged against the Dominican Republic by Haitians who have complained about racism. I don’t know why one would assume that Caribbean blacks do not have struggles.
