AhhhHHMMM What is going on in NYC?

Let me go to a South American country and stay longer than allowed and demand that their gov't pay me because I cant work without permission.

Can't make this crap up.

Excluded workers' protest disrupts traffic on Brooklyn, Manhattan bridges.

No wonder my taxes increased astronomically.

They have no shame some people.

First and foremost these illegals aren't supposed to be employed in USA, period.

Next this is what comes of NYS's welfare culture; you'd think they'd be grateful for one helping, but no, they always want more.

Fine give illegals their money, but go after every GD business, independent contractor, etc.. that hires illegals for unpaid employment and FICA taxes.

Much feeding at the public trough. The wealthy of this city have so much unearned money from the easy money policies, that I guess they can afford it. Unfortunately, truly productive people also end up getting screwed.

Send back where they came from. Relive the city of un needed expenses. Budget will look even better and maybe we can clean up the streets and put away the bums.

The construction, restaurant, and food delivery industry would collapse overnight in NYC. Oh no - then employers would actually have to pay prevailing market wages to legally authorized workers.

I think the 1% and what's left of the flailing Middle Class should split the bill. Encourage them to have babies and reunite with long lost relatives......in NYC. Life is grand.

You left out scores if not hundreds of mostly white but other "middle class" (or that's what they tell themselves), would see their standard of living drop like a stone in the sea.

Nannies, housecleaners, laundresses, landscaping/gardeners, dog walkers/sitters, etc... the whole effing lot that such persons hire on cheap would vanish. These households cannot afford legit child care (real nannies or maids don't come cheap), so scores of women or men would have to stay home and take care of their own children, clean their own homes, mow their own lawns....

On other side of things businesses would have to pay on the books for janitorial services, probably at union wages. Every night scores of vans come into city from NJ, PA and elsewhere hauling floor cleaning/buffing machines and materials, and or other cleaning supplies. Duane Reade, Shake Shack, Rite Aid, and others hire these "independent contractors" and pay off books. Because they are IC places can get around laws hiring illegal aliens...

This is why everyone runs their mouths about the illegal alien problem, but neither democrat or republican really wants to solve issue. Life style of middle class stretching up to those with some wealth depends heavily directly or indirectly upon illegals.

No, Americans won't do certain jobs largely because illegals have driven down wages. No one is going to get out of bed to take a pi$$ for sort of money people pay for various jobs. But an illegal will take it no questions asked.
