Went to the QBG yesterday. It's not blooming yet but stay tuned. The daffodils and forsythia are out though.

Cherry blossom trees around the city have started to bloom, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden has officially declared the start of their cherry blossom viewing season.

This coming weekend and beginning of next week will be cold again so those blooms will be damaged if they bloom too early.

I saw at least one tree blooming yesterday on a random street and then a few others looking like they will be ready soon.

If you can get to Branch Brook Park in Newark, do go. More Cherry trees than Washington or Brooklyn.
You sort of need a car so that lets me out for the last decade.
