This seems unfair and definitely a double standard. Don't you agree?

The whole thing is about politicians drunk on control. The handful of elite players affected by this help politicians control the masses of the general populace. Of course they’re treated differently.

Throw the whole thing out. Why make exemptions for athletes but keep in place for others who are being fired for not complying. Ridiculous.

Anyone fired from their state or city job or private job which was influenced by an overturned federal 'mandate' over the mandate should immediately sue.

Of course the city just taxes and never holds poor decision makers responsible.

Seems like a violation of the 14th amendment:

“The Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause requires states to practice equal protection. Equal protection forces a state to govern impartially—not draw distinctions between individuals solely on differences that are irrelevant to a legitimate governmental objective.”
