NYC did not die at its lowest point in 1975 at bankruptcy drastically cutting ALL city services with 2000 homicides by the early 1980s and CEOs and GOP key people BEGGED Pres. Ford (the forgotten pres.) to grant NYC Gov loans. They did pay it back with interest.
A Paris and London ARE revered and NO ONE will call them their Nation's scourge.
This century and era is ridiculous in TOXIC EXTREMISM that got worst.

With elections coming up shortly it appears that the vote may finally go extreme right.
Citizens tired of illegals coming into the country and driving down quality of life.
The worlds governments.................are watching for the outcome.....so should we.

NYC has sucked the life out of this country with all the parasites on Wall Street, Lawyers, and CRE have helped contribute to the decline of this nation and the death of many smaller communities in middle America. Places that used to have thriving industrial and agrarian industries have been in decline for decades while the profiteers in dumps like NYC have thrived.
The best thing for this country would be the implosion and eradication of NYC's influence. It has begun, and Mayor Adams is doing a great job expediting the process.
And that is why this country is so screwed up right now.

Blame globalization as well then. I always believed that the country should be self reliant and a country like ours was and can be once again. I think that was one of the major ideas that Trump capitalized on and lots of people were excited about that idea and not his antics. Not sure whats more bizarre, Trump being a president or this corpse we have now. At least the last few president looked like they knew what they were talking about.
