So between COVID outdoor dining shacks and protected bike lanes, how many parking spots have been eliminated?

these freaking citibikes and bike lanes have become a royal PITA for the motorists, we already have parking problems and the city just keeps taking away more and more, where the eff do they think weee supposed to park our cars, and no, I dont wanna get rid of my car, i dont wanna use public transportation and have to ride with a bunch of disgusting annoying people, or get stuck in a train car and have to hear a bunch of idiots with a boom box start dancing in the middle of the
car, or have the pan handlers begging for money, nope, dont wanna do that.

Why can’t riding bikes be about using common sense, why does it need to involve lane rules??

Bike lanes that aren't even used. I see it all the time in Manhattan. The cyclists ride in the opposite direction, use ALL lanes AND the sidewalk.

If they're getting any federal grant money to redo the road (and it could from the State as a pass through from the feds) then bike lanes are required to be installed after a certain dollar amount is reached.

What dot has done to northern blvd in bayside and Douglaston is pathetic.

Also over by Oakland lake you have the parking lane in what was once a second traffic lane so the cars appear to be in the middle of the street .

When you get to the corner by northern the cars now block any cyclists from view as they are now in a bike lane between the curb and parked cars so if you are making a left you can’t see them coming .

Just brilliant
