Meanwhile, as everyone with a bit of brain knows, of course there is a middle class. Furthermore, there is still a large middle class in the US (with a lesser purchasing power than in the past, but nevertheless still middle class) - an average plumber or a teacher is not poor, but surely not rich either. Most Western countries have a very large middle class.
