I never understood how the show was treated like some cultural event beyond just being a cable TV show. I used to listen to WFAN a lot during its run and many of their sports shows devoted significant time to discussing the latest episode. I just didn’t get that. If you didn’t watch the show it was totally boring to hear sports hosts analyzing a fictional TV show and they often had cast members as guests.

Really nice send off for Tony Sirico, lots of former co-stars and even just general public showed up at funeral to pay their respects.

Would have loved to be at the repast afterwards.

Still a nice area, but overall Bayridge is changing and not for the best. Some are trying to hold out and keep things going, but year after year it's less and less.
