Sometimes you find businesses which store their inventory ,when they go under, the inventory is auctioned off,you would find interesting parts, components .
some storage places can be used as office, show room and a person can even sleep there, with water and electricity.
Okay, thank you. That location would certainly be very convenient.
One thing to know about some storage places in NYC is that most are not intended for long term storage, meaning they start raising the price on your unit about 5 months into your start date with them. And then they raise it more. And more.
So it's one thing to look for when you're reading reviews, if you plan to keep your stuff there for awhile.

This is true. I am paying almost three times the cost of when I first got my unit. Thinking about getting rid of it since I don't use it and just get a package delivery service instead.

That's the business model of all storage places everywhere. I've used storage facilities in multiple cities and they all do the same thing. They pull you in with the teaser rate and then they raise the prices so they can make profits. It's just good ole-fashioned capitalism.
why not rent a mail box with those mail service station, there is always someone to sign for packages.
