Got one today for my wife. I drive in the city nearly every day, all over. She drives there once without me and BAM.
She's telling me she's never driving in the boroughs again. It's so funny that she hates NYC more than I do now that we are out. I did not see that happening.
With the size of the city budget and the amount of city workers, we should have some of the best infrastructure of any top tier global city.
Instead, we have infrastructure that's barely enough to keep things moving.
It would be a joke if it wasn't so sad.
AOC works for the welfare class. Most of them couldn't care less about the infrastructure in this city.
City workers are white collar welfare class. Do the least stay until you get the pension, then come back for another city job and another pension.

NYC drivers tailgating you and angry people no way doing doing 35 in 25 zone. You do the speed limit you hearing horns and aggressive engines.
It's just a blatant money grabbing scam. You are screwed if you're casually cruising at 1 or 2 am and you encounter a sidewalk with a 15mph school zone limit and you think you're fine doing 25. It's harder in the night to see every single speed limit sign.
All this does is lower driver's confidence. And now you have to constantly keep track of what your speed limit is consistently.
Now you have to drive like a grandma and keep waze open 24/7 to avoid getting ticketed lmao.

What else can I expect from scummy NYC
15 or 20 mph school zone limits (as opposed to 25 mph) are usually in effect during school hours and are right in front of schools. (Not to be confused with speed camera school zones.) Speed cameras are in effect 24/7 but when there are dual speed limits for certain hours, you don’t have to drive 15 or 20 in the middle of the night.
The upside is, if you drive 25 mph, you can be on the phone checking your emails and texts and catch up on funny news.
It’s even easier if you car has dynamic cruise, it will accelerate and slow down for you. I mean all you gotta do is keep it in lane. I means at that speed, you can sip you favorite drink in one hand while steering forward and enjoy the buzz as you move along on Queens blvd. just watch out for those pests on bikes, you don’t want any dents on your car.
I don’t care. I go exactly the speed limit in NYC. I don’t want to give back a dime of my pension.
Same here. That's why I do most of my driving in Westchester for shopping, medical appointments, etc... I'll spend my money there. Driving around the NYC is a pain for a lot of reasons.
I don't disagree. The city could cut 1/2 of it's staff and literally nothing would change.
so true!!!
