Top aides typically earn over 150K.

He didn't provide any new details that we didn't already know, but he most certainly ruined his career in city government.

As an aside, Baugh was featured in the NY Post, back in July, due to being robbed at gun point. https://nypost.com/2022/07/05/eric-a...n-nyc-sources/
If he didn't reveal "any new details we didn't know already" , why would he ruin his career? The worst statement was an evaluation of the Mayor's competence. For that, he will probably be punished.

That's what clowns in this city fear the most. Their incompetence and utter cynicism being exposed when it comes to administering this city.

Just like with crime, the same playbook. "What's the big deal? This is normal. Nothing to see here." Do you think everyone's stupid in this city? The welfare class is large but it's not everyone.

We all knew this was coming: City Hall staffer fired after slamming city’s migrant response

A spokesperson for the mayor said Baugh was booted from City Hall for “disparaging first responders.”

The mayor’s office downplayed Baugh’s role in City Hall, calling him “a low-level staffer who had no private or special access to the mayor” and said he was not hired by the Adams administration.

This is what you’ve voted for, instead of Trump’s wall. Now Biden’s no wall.

So easy to solve.
Just send them back. Every state. Send them all back. Just shut the border down. No more. “Sorry we’re full” will have to suffice for a while. Make it fun at the border. Have the processing in a tunnel or maze like structure where at the end they go on a slide but it lands them south of the border.

Everyone involved in dealing with these refugees (the proper term for them), are using them to make political statements. Biden is doing it by letting them in, Abbot is doing it by putting them on buses and shipping them up here, and Adams is doing it by going vastly out of the city's way to accommodate them. In point of fact none of this should be happening. They should have never been allowed in the country to begin with.

Since this is the NYC board, I'll deal with what NYC should be doing. It should be doing nothing on it's own. This is a problem caused by the federal government. I would not offer them a nickel's worth of assistance out of NYC's own budget. The feds created this problem. If they want to fund programs to deal with these refugees, let them. NYC could administer the programs (as long as the feds fund the admin costs.) Otherwise, let them fend for themselves.

I'm guessing the guy only got fired for the statement below. Claiming to fire him for “disparaging first responders" is straight up banana republic politics.

“And I don’t know that Eric Adams is capable enough to navigate it,” Baugh said in the recorded video.
Our mayor has a lot of pride but is straight up incompetent. Go into any NYCHA development and you'll find the same. Our mayor just so happened to find a city job where he could play with himself for 20+ years, not accomplish anything, and get paid pretty decently for it.

What's even worse about our idiot mayor is that he doesn't want hire competent people lest they expose his incompetence.

I pushed for Curtis Sliwa but to no avail. Rather than going with a person who has been passionate about N.Y.C. his entire life they went with ..................well......................Eric.

Hope the voters are happy....................ooooooops another one pushed onto the tracks.
