No one educated and working believes any of this garbage research. Plus the research was done by a huge leftist cabal. It also omits the following impact on regular hard working middle class citizens:
-Demand for housing goes up. That means higher competitor pricing. So home buyers and renters lose. Sellers win.
-The stress they place on school space, hospitals, public transportation. Go to a waiting room in Flushing hospital and see what I'm talking about. Or take the 7 train in Flushing now compared to the 80s before the Chinese invasion.
-Think about car insurance. People in NYC have some of highest costs in the country. Why? Because half the drivers are foreign and did not grow up learning to drive on "American" roads, nevermind NYC roads. Again, go drive around my hometown of Flushing and see all the daily accidents in 2022 vs. when I got my license in 1990. My insurance was half the rate back then. Foreigners cause lots and lots of traffic accidents.
-They drive down work wages. That's a fact. The more people available to work, the lower the wages.
-The vast majority send most of their earnings back to their country of origin. They aren't helping local economies whatsoever. Caveat to the small immigrant business owners however. But the vast majority of immigrants, especially the illegal, aren't opening up any type of business.
We will be a 3rd world Latin country within 50 years.

The U.S. is an immigrant nation. But who does "the net tax benefit" ... benefit? The rational counterpoint is that there must be limits to how many people can immigrate here at any given time.

Doubtful. It'll be like any other third-world country - a wealthy elite behind gates presiding over a diverse, squabbling mass of peasants dependent on the largesse of the elite. It'll then go through the usual cycle of coups, "socialist" revolutions, war, and poverty.
We're not alone, though. The entire west is committing suicide. Europe is flooding itself with "migrants' and embracing wokeism at an even faster pace than we are.
