Texas and Florida are really at the forefront of population gains for entire country.

For one year only, the numbers are below. All loss and gain mostly a reflection of domestic outmigration as birth and deaths for most states cancel out.
NY -180k. Loss 0.9%
Il -104k Loss 0.8%
Ca -114 Loss 0.3%

Fl. +417k. Gain 1.9%
Tx +471k gain. 1.3%

What can be done? Why are the big blue states losing population continuously, and the biggest red states so dominant in gaining people from across US?

You really had to ask?

Truth Justice and the American Way

There is more of it in Red States than in Blue States.
If Superman was real he'd be living in Florida and fighting crime in N.Y.C and Chicago.

Love how the leftists deflect, excuse, and defend.
Everyone knows why this is happening.

Within the metro area they moving to NJ and CT in huge numbers 1 in 6 car is New York plate. They moving to Philly and Baltimore metro area, Charlotte, Orlando, South Florida, Tampa, Charleston SC, Savannah and Atlanta Georgia. The most common thing they say why there are moving is they can’t afford NYC anymore, the second reason they want start their life is over NY is too much.

Not at all surprised by those numbers which will only increase.

That is what leftists do. They would never ever take responsibility for what they have done

Yes, CT is better. Lower property taxes, better schools, nicer community.

If a--hole New Yorkers leave their attitudes and psychotic driving habits back in NY, maybe they will do better in nicer communities. I say this as an honest native New Yorker.

I can't comment on Jersey.
