Being a hooah is pretty much now legit in NYC as arrests have plummeted to a small fraction of previous levels.

Four out of five borough DAs won't prosecute such arrests, so there you are.

My first thought was they are saving the jail space for more serious crimes. Had to remind myself violent felons are walking around with 20 + arrests. Seems they are just light on prosecution on everything. Problem with the sex trade is people are often trafficked or forced against thier will into this work.

I have not heard the word hooah used since the 80s. That was a surprise to see written on this 3rd day of 2023!

There are many ways to earn a living. This does not have to be one of them.
The risk of infection and disease will definitely shorten life for the parties involved.

Maybe law has decided to concentrate on the Johns like if it weren't for John's there would be no prostitution kinda thing.

The article is comparing decriminalization of weed to decriminalization of prostitution. ?? Kind of a stretch I think.

Should have been legal a long time ago. Give people what they want. Maybe there would be a lot less miserable pricks out there faking being nice to women and running game.

Make prostitution legal so NY can regulate the living crap out of it.
Think of all the tax and license revenue that would come in for government salaries and raises.

It was a NOW feminist thing to make prostitution illegal and now it's a feminist movement to make it legal?

Well, I have no complaints just careful what you've wished for.
