Pretty pathetic in 2023. They also don't have that many branches. You're reminding me of everything I found inconvenient about them.

Although a discomfort, I can understand why Bank ATM's will close along side banking hours.
If the city can not control crime it is up to the private sector to step up to the plate. If enough
businesses send the message by shuttering their doors at dusk it would simply be a culture
shock WOW!

Loitering and trespassing aren't always a crime. Unless LE catch people inside atm lobbies doing something illegal best they can do is tell them to bounce.

What can be laid at feet of NYC is fact its social service budget runs scores of millions yet still people are living rough on street.

I don't know why they don't have that option at all Citi branches. All of the Chase branches I've been to have that option.

You are correct about loitering not always being a crime but let's just hypothesize for a moment.
If the person is holding a knife standing next to an ATM machine wouldn't you think twice about withdrawing $20 bucks?

People withdraw money from a Bank because the objectives of a Bank is to keep you safe during this transaction.
Since Banks are private , unless they hire private security because of bad times, they are doing right by having ATM's
follow normal banking hours.

Citi branch ATM's used to dispense 10 dollar bills............... Next? 20's and 50's ?

The day that Dollar Stores disappear is the day American Currency is in trouble.

Please tell me the location of Citi ATMs that dispense $10 bills now. They have in the past dispensed $10 and $50 bills but I am talking about now, not sometime in the past.

I rarely use the atm, paycheck direct to bank and pay everything with credit or app. ATM machines are basically where the homeless sleeps at night and criminals waiting for victims.
