Send in the bunko squad, haul them out by the scruff of their necks, dump them onto a few old cargo ships, and mail them back to wherever home is. Because home ain't here.
The city or the NGOs will just bring in warming equipment or move them to some temporary facility with heat for a day or two until the cold breaks. Don't get your hopes up.
The whole thing is disgusting. We have Americans here in NYC that are homeless sleeping in the streets and these people are coming from elsewhere sleeping in hotels with food, etc. arriving illegally seeking asylum and demanding this and that. We need to take care of our own first and foremost. We have a homeless crisis with our people.
Let Venezuela, Mexico and the rest of the Latin American countries take care of their own people. That's the answer.
Atleast these migrants will work eventually work at restaurants or nursing homes to help you wipe you when you get dirty. Try finding homeless people to do work.
There was a time when it was shameful to be on welfare. I know people who did all they could NOT to be on it even if it meant they had to work multiple jobs. Now, for some it's embraced as a legitimate, permanent lifestyle. No shame at all.
You're not supposed to be proud you're on welfare.
