This is all nonsense. You don't think there are tens of thousands of applicants waiting in wings to scoop up these jobs when they would otherwise be working near minimum wage? These posts make zero sense. The NYPD has already become a jobs program in a sense. Half the force are paper pushers doing zero policing as it is.

Let's be honest here. It's mostly white guys dropping this job and various immigrants, black, and Hispanic NYCers will gobble these jobs up. Guaranteed 6 figures in under 10 years with great benefits and a pension is a godsend to most of them.

Exactly. It's the goal of democrats all over America to replace whites with hispanics and blacks. So the NYPD of the near future will be composed of mostly overweight female PoC trained to avoid aggressive policing.
