Manhattan garage worker charged with attempted murder after shooting thief
A Manhattan parking garage attendant who was shot twice while confronting an alleged thief — then wrestled the gun away and opened fire on the suspect — has been charged with attempted murder, police and sources said.
Reminds me of the Jose Alba bodega self defense stabbing, that drew uproar from the public and the charges got dropped. I think that will happen here, but the damage will still sadly be done. The garage attendant now has injuries, medical and possible incoming legal expenses from defending himself AFTER being shot.
Any sane rational jury of New Yorkers will aquit if it goes to trial.
Does the DA just expect somone being attacked to just stand there? They sure do love punishing the normal working people just trying to live.

Garage guys and other employees should think twice about defending someone elses car...hero aint nothing but a sandwich.think about your own family, and property. U there to park cars. Thats it!
Self defense works for your own life. Same level of force, and shoot once where theres an immediate threat.

As a kid growing up in Brooklyn I watched those towers constructed, and even though I had long left the NYC area, I was crying at seeing that. Today a different terrorist is attacking America, this new terrorist is home grown and they live in Manhattan and voted for Alvin Bragg to attack America and her laws. NYC and their attack against Trump for political reason is an attack on America. NYC has declared war on America, you guys are the terrorists now.
