For $2500 I doubt you will find even one 2b/2 bath apartment for rent in Kew Gardens. And that would be without all the amenities you're asking for like washer/dryer, gym and private parking.

For rental pricing, you can get an idea by going to Streeteasy.com

I checked and found one for $2950. No gym, no washer/dryer, no parking.

OP is asking for a 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom for $2500.

You know the market better than I do but I would think that extra bath is going to add on some bucks.

Briarwood will get more bang for the buck than Kew Gardens. The OP said he wants the most affordable housing of three areas he listed as his TOP criteria. He repeated it twice - reading comprehension??

From my experience - parking is rough in both KG and BW. BW is more middle class residential, quieter than KG though KG is pretty quiet too. Both areas are accessible to E train. You may find more buildings in BW are accessible to the train overall. E train can take you to LIC - Court Square where you can transfer to G for Williamsburg.
There’s a 24hour Fitness Gym on Queens Blvd but it’s in KG. You might also go to Planet Fitness either in Jamaica or Forest Hills.
Check StreetEasy app for listings.

he also said “. I am starting a new job in NY in Sept. I would like to know which is the best, safest, and most affordable …

kew would fit the bill for best and likely safest in comparison. most affordable it would not be .

so the. op has to choose what he really wants since cheper and best don’t usually go together

Which is the best area, closer to the train station, BETTER parking, closer to markets, and MOST affordable TWO-bedroom rentals? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!

Have a blessed day everyone

***I would appreciate it if you share the Rental prices and the name of the best building apartments with washer/dryer, if there is private parking better--no more than $2000-2500/month (2b/2b), W/D, gym (optional/ or closer to a gym), walking to markets, and private parking (1car/ optional). Again, THANK YOU ALL!!!!
Briarwood would be the most affordable of the three

Sorry to hear this. Jamaica is one of the more dangerous places in NYC.

I also wouldn't live in any of those neighborhoods. Even Kew Gardens. You'd be much happier living further East in Nassau County on Long Island. More suburban, prob same prices to rent a lower end home/apt as in Queens and plenty of parking for cars. And the best news is the Long Island railroad goes right to Jamaica, Queens for your job. And more quality higher income people take that railroad vs.NYC subway. If you look on a map, I'd suggest the towns of Floral Park, New Hyde Park or Franklin Square. Bellrose Manor is also adequate.

If you like the neighborhoods mentioned what about ParkSide ?
Part of Forest Hills / Kew Gardens.

Approximately Metropolitan ave and Austin St. ?

Plenty of amenities and public or private bus service to Manhattan.
Best wishes.

Kew Gardens is the superior choice in everyway except affordability.
