I for one would love to see companies get brave again and build up north along the Hudson valley. Sullivan, Wayne, orange , Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess all have enormous tracts of land.

They should have never built the Verrazano, look at what happened to Staten Island

The Verrazzano & the SI Expressway (I-278) were going to be built no matter what. Moses had that much power until Gov. Rockefeller fired him. Same argument can be made for everything else then

The basic services are the job of the city. They get the increased property tax revenue from the new buildings, so they have to provide the services.
coney island and brighton beach should really be rezoned and look beautiful like the new arverne in the rockaways. Coney Island and Brighton Beach are hideous and its crazy that these have the audacity to have activist.

Imagine being an activist for Coney Island LMFAOO

High rises?

Learn to ask questions before talking you are too grown to not know this.

Anyways about high rises I believe all low-income high rises should be torn down. High rises should only be for wealthy or blue collar people. Not because they have more money but high rises in low-income communities are never properly taken care of and usually look disgusting.
