Oh I don't know.
Mid-Island and South Shore have issues and things seem to be increasing.
Difference is often it's those local to area or block causing crime, not just outsiders.

People like to point the finger, but South Shore and Mid-Island has native serious drug problems (along with crimes that go along with) bad as North Shore.
