If people go to the theater today they usually do it because it's a cool outing/experience not because they really wanna see a movie and have no other way of doing it. So if you can't offer a good experience for people then they won't come. And yeah your experience in a theater can be ruined by dated facilities, poor amenities and other moviegoers.

I'm sure a new theater will open soon, and take advantage of business for movie-going.

Movie theaters have struggled nationwide in general, since the pandemic.

the Bronx has 1.4 million people, and I'm sure a sizeable chunk would still go to the movies on occasion. The customers are there, and it's just a matter of time for another theater or two to open up and take advantage of potential biz.

The Bronx is under-served with retail and amenities, in general.

Why is the Bronx underserved? Are the capitalists shy?

What decade are you living in? There will not be another movie theater moving in there!

Haven't seen a movie in the Bronx since Whitestone Cinemas closed down.

I usually go down to the City or up to New Roc.
