I was walking to grab a salad and lo behold! A sign that says they have closed it down for Health violations! WTH?? I never saw this coming especially since I was chatting to the owner just last week!
I have been going to the Midtown branch for all of my 3 years. Never fell sick even once.
Now where am I going to go for my Brownies and those amazing unlimited toppings Salads??
It all comes down to perspective. You say it's the worst tragedy yet...and I never even heard of Fluffy's. Fortunately, New York happens to be a big city, and I'd be willing to bet that there's another place somewhere (even if it isn't in Manhattan) where you can get good brownies.
You'll get over it. Check out the cup cake cafe or one of the bakeries on Bleeker st.
Look on the bright side. You could have got run over by a bus today, but you didn't.
It takes ALOT for a place to be shut down for health violations. That place must have been a filthy mess. They must have been feeding rat droppings to the customers and advertising them as chocolate chip sprinkles.

Yet ironically not once have I been sick. It looked pretty clean and neat.. Better than most diners in the city. The staff was wonderful and friendly.
Where did you get that from? Can you fwd a link or something.. I know they shut down to renovate last year. When they re-opened they stopped the salads which was their fastest moving item. They only brought back the salads 2 months back.
