I am considering a job at IBM East Fishkill. Is it reasonable to commute between Manhatten and East Fishkill by car? Alternatively, is there a mass transit solution. The problem I see is getting from Metro North Beacon to the site.

Hi,
IBM is great it is just not reasonable to commute fro NYC. At least 90 by car w/ no traffic fro uptown. From Metro North Beacon you must drive to IBM @ 15 minutes and the price of gas will kill you. Better alternative real estate is still cheap compared to NYC, beautiful homes, great schools, low crime... just a bettter way of life. Still close enough to the city to go whenever you want.
