I hear a lot about how expensive New York City is but what about other places for entertainment? My other question is how much are things like cab fare, subway fare, bowling, gas, movie tickets, and the such? Thank you in advance.

subway fare is two bucks with free transfers, movie tickets are 10 for regular theaters and 12 at stadium seating/modernized theaters, cab fare is expensive, bowling is not a horrible ripoff there's just not enough alleys in NYC, and gas is... I don't know... I don't drive.

Subways are cheap. I have no idea why I asked about gas prices. Thanks for the quick response. Keep them coming. What is the price of a gallon of milk.
