I agree with the hot Polish girls comment. They all look like porn stars in that area. Seriously. And I agree with the Polish pizza. There is a small pizzeria right outside of the train station and their food is great. The diner across the street is also great. All the hipsters in the area eat there on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Damn, you guys make me want to move back there.

Forgot the name of the diner, but it is directly across the street from the Nassua Ave train station on Manhattan Ave. Oh, I forgot to mention. Enid's. another popular place. Comfort food I guess it would be called. Another hipster hangout at the top of the park. Food is great, service is OK, and they frequently run out of stuff; I'm making it sound not great but trust me it is. It's a good walk east on Manhattan Ave well past the other Nassua Ave train station entrance. There are lots of good Thai places. SEA is in Williamsburg but well worth the walk. You can feed a gang of people and the bill comes out unbelievably low. You can't go wrong with Guernsey.

i'm gonna give it a shot, but the Guernsey place is having an open house this weekend so it will almost certainly get snatched up. i'm stuck here in Cleveland for at least another week or two, so the stars would really have to be aligned for it to work out.
