Rita Berger House/ The Bridge ??? (neighborhood, quality of life, live in)

Found a place I like, however its on the same block at the Rita Berger House one of the Bridges' Homes. They deal with mentally ill pts/ recovering druggies/ and HIV pts. Has anyone else lived near a half house etc....or know anything about this specific facility...please share

clinic in the NE bronx and i can tell you that many times it's the people who live in the community that victimize our clients, who fit the description of the types of patients you mention.

We have had our clients propositioned for prostitution by people in the neighborhood, we have had clients ripped off for as much as $100 over a money order, we have had EMS workers harass and pass the buck on a client who needed help, the list goes on and on

This population can do nuisance things like panhandle in the streets and shoplift small items, sit on people's stoops and can make the neighborhood look worse than it is but it seems more like a quality of life thing rather than a matter of safety for the residents
