My family will be visiting Brooklyn for a few nights, and we are looking at renting an apartment on Madison Street in Stuyvescent Heights. Is this a safe neighborhood for tourists? Thanx!

The closer you are to the border with Queens, the better off you'll be.

^^^ so that must mean being across the street from a graveyard is a good sign?

sorry, I've been working in Middle Village/Ridgewood all week and that's all I see on the bus rides... the Brooklyn/Queens border is so grim.

Talk about grim.. the Woodhaven/Cypress Hills border is literally a giant compilation of graveyards.. I counted before, I think there's 17 graveyards in the same spot!

if its in stuyvesant heights then the block itself should be nice. the problem is the area around the train station (utica avenue is a little ghetto).
