I know Brooklyn gets a lot of press ad hype, and we all know about Brownstoner.com, the Brooklyn real estate blog. Is there a similar type of website for the Bronx? If there isn't, is anyone interested in putting one together? I know Gutwithacause and Pete Piper are prime candidates to contribute. Even if it was a blogspot that a few people posted to...I think it would be nice.

I brought that up a while ago. I think it is a fantastic idea, and I will gladly offer to lend a hand if needed. I would love to see a site that acts as a repository for positive articles on the Bronx, includes photos of the diversity that can be found here, a forum, history of the borough, etc.

I agree..I think that is a great idea...at the moment this site is serving the same purpose. I am not familiar with website creation or the particulars of blogging...if somebody is able to assist with creating the site, I have no problem running/monitoring it (with some help though!).

It sounds like a great idea. I don't know anything about putting it together, but would be happy to contribute as best I can.

I haven't posted for a while, but I sneak a look from time to time and saw the message, and think this website is a great idea. I'd like to help out if someone knows how to set it up.

not to rain on the parade, but bronx brownstones? aside from mott haven and longwood (maybe melrose too) there not much of that style in the bronx. i'd rather a website devoted to all the art-deco buildings that you guys have.

I think el luchador is talking about a Bronx website in general (not just about architecture) about all the great stuff going on in the Bronx. And yes, I would love to see some photos included of all those great deco buildings that, in my opinion, are simply to die for!

The point is to having something for the Bronx...why would we copy Brooklyn? We have far more that is unique to the borough than just some blocks of brownstones and decent pizza. The Bronx is far more dynamic than Brooklyn..and a central repository for news, postings, pics, and activities would be ideal and showcase all that is great about the Bronx. I need someone who knows how to create websites!
