i agree, i think boston's a stretch. and miami is a little far, but there are a ton of ny/nj folks down there

But not the whole island...right? I mean, are there any famous attractions? Or is the majority of the island one big city trash can.

Not anymore. Fresh Kills closed in 2001. I think our trash goes to Jersey and Pennsylvania now.

I believe that at one point, the city had a deal with Pennsylvania to use our trash as a way of filling up old abandoned mineshafts.
