OK, so if you had to live in Queens/BK/Bronx/Manhattan/Staten Island and could live in any part you wanted, what area would you choose?

My choices:

Queens: Astoria

Manhattan: LES

Brooklyn: Bay Ridge or Park Slope

Bronx: I don't know what part of the Bronx this was, but it was somewhat close to the Zoo. I went to visit a school there, and I liked it a lot. I liked the way the apts/housing looked and it seemed like a nice, diverse area.

Staten Island: I really don't know different parts, but I'd say close to the bridge/ferry for easy access to Manhattan. Don't know how that area is though.

I would say Manhattan, then maybe Brooklyn a close second. I don't mind New Jersey either.
