scroll down to the bottom until you see the words "south of Conduit Avenue" in bold. probably a very small area, but it still reminds me of pictures I've seen of Detroit.
I hate that place.. the school is ranked the worst high school in NYC. Jamaica Ave. smells horrible in that particular spot.. it just smells like dead fish, and rotting garbage no matter where you walk. The school is pretty dangerous as well, and the J train's platform is deteriorating.

google emerald street and ruby street, try queens and brooklyn ny because i'm not sure which borough they're in since its on the border, but i'm almost positive it doesnt have street views

I'd say both areas are considered ENY, but some might claim Woodhaven.. either way, there are no street views for either!

Looking at Google maps (there is street view, btw... weird that this place does but not most residential streets in Woodhaven), it's surprisingly close to Howard Beach... my girlfriend's best friend lives in the co-op complex on 155th Ave. The difference between 79th street and 78th street is absolutely mindblowing, though.
Even though parts of the neighborhood are technically in Queens, I doubt anyone really considers it Howard Beach or Ozone Park... it's all E. NY, haha, no matter what side of the border you're on.
Bushwick, Cypress Hills, Red hook, some parts of East Flatbush and scattered parts of East New York.
ENY isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. But the neighborhood could use some big investment.
ENY across from Starett city is just residential private homes. Once you get to Linden blvd, everything just shifts. Its pretty shocking
I'm intrigued and kind of want to drive through that part of the Brooklyn/Queens border now just to see it. Using Google street view probably doesn't do it justice.
The Bk/Q border seems very steadfast, which is surprising because it's not even a municipal boundary... with entirely different demographics on either side... Woodhaven and ENY are like totally different worlds. Queens and Nassau blend into each other practically, and that's an actual municipal boundary... just funny how things work.
