My parents were both native Brooklynites, Dad from Williamsburg and Mom from Brownsville. I've lived in Brownsville, Park Slope, Sheepshead Bay and Midwood here in Brooklyn...with a short stint in Rochdale Village (Jamaica, Queens). Although they aren't the favorite years of my life, I've also had experience in suburbia--Morganville, NJ.

here's my life story in a nutshell, lol:

Was born in Middle Village (Queens), moved to Long Island when I was 3, grew up there, then moved to Maspeth (Queens) over a year ago at age 23. Last December I moved to Astoria. Now that i'm getting married this summer, my fiance and I are probably going to buy a co-op in the Whitestone area for a few years before we buy a house on Long Island.

As for my parents, my mom grew up in the west village, and my dad in Queens. When they got married, they stayed in Queens until my sister was 8 and I was 3, which was when we moved to LI.
