I only use Chase because they're convenient but they are rip offs. I had WAMU and then when Chase took over, they eliminated the free checking I had with WAMU and now they charge me a $12 maintenance fee monthly because I don't have direct deposit.

Chase has over 30% deposit market share of the metro area; Bank of America and Citi are around 10%. It differs by borough, but the ATM footprint likely follows these figures accordingly.
