Hi all,

We´re a family from Europe moving to NY, Riverdale, we have no clue which areas in Riverdale we should look into, as we would like for our 5 yr old son to attend a good public school. I read through some threads on Riverdale, but couldn´t find sufficient information on which streets/area borders are zoned to which public schools. So far I found that three public schools were mentioned as ok (?): PS 81, PS24 and Beacon Heights Elementary.
Please, if you can help us, we´d be very greatful.

Best
Danish mom

PS 24 zone is south of West 246th street and east of Waldo Ave which is basically central Riverdale and Spuyten Duyvil. PS 24 is a good school and most parents I know who send there kids there are very happy with it. Welcome to Riverdale!

Hi Geniojen

Thanks .
My hubbie is in Bronx right now, do you know if our son (who´s in Denmark with me right now) can get admission registered before we actually arrive and have settled in Riverdale?

Thanks beforehand

Hi Viralmd

Ok, thanks. ( Btw, do you happen to know how I can delete a thread I´ve posted? There´s one in particular which I´m a little worried about).
