I will remeber the 4 million dollars it cost us in tax dollars to replace the signage on the bridge during one of the greatest economic disasters in American History.

I hear RFK was a great man and I don't think he would approve of this spending especially at this time.

Ive been saying the same thing. That is why I posted the article about a week ago. What have the Kennedys done besides stand from the pedestal of their old money? They preach liberalism when they are far from being in touch with the average US citizen with their boarding schools and elite political offices. The picture of the new Triboro sign being unveiled made me laugh. A bunch of NY politicians hangin out as if there are no current issues to deal with.

I'm glad we're not in an economic crisis, and can afford to fix up things like this.

I've heard a fellow student or two at Queensborough complaining about this. Now the economy must be in bad shape if disinterested urban community college students are paying attention to government spending!

The only thing that I will remember about a structure with the RFK name is that funky looking stadium in DC.

That was really a waste. What was so important that they had to do it now ?
They should be spending money on more important things.
