Hi all. My dad passed away Tuesday AM. I'm here in Woodstock Ga and it's raining. I'm returning to NY Saturday. I find this forum, it's topics and all members comforting during this time.

Thanks again

RL

you know, i'm embarrassed to say it but it seems that bulletin board postings help me more than person to person contacts these days. i suppose it's a fairly common thing

Well, one reason maybe that in the former, because of anonyimity, most people are candid...whereas in person-to-person, interpersonal face-to-face situations, many might disguise their true sentiments. Perhaps, consciously or subconsciously, you're craving truth and true emotions.

And not only am i craving truth and true emotions, I am craving that Jamaican girl and Dominican girl back at the office--but I have to think solemn thoughts for a while in light of what's happened

he had a knack for teaching me how to do things and the things he showed me how to do--throw and catch a baseball, do math, operate a computer, as well as drive safely(never had an accident in my 29 years of driving), use a camera stayed with me and are my favorite things today

he was a traditional jazz purist, a musician and has a CD/cassette collection in the 1000's
he photographed weddings and loved photography
