+1 on that! Rosa's has a few locations in Maspeth, Ridgewood and Middle Village...the BEST sicilian anywhere! Excellent sandwiches/heroes as well.

It used to be Grandslam Pizzaria in Far Rockaway but since they closed down a few years ago I havn't enjoyed a real good slice of pizza since. Gino's Pizza on Beach 20th used to be great too but they must have changed ingredients or something because it doesnt taste the way it used to.

It's a different style of pizza, but I like Artichoke on 14th Street (Artichoke Pizza) It's very popular there's usually a long line. Their crab pizza is amazing, but very, very rich. Eat in moderation.
