Best NYC Street Views?

My favorite has always been going into Manhattan on the upper roadway of the 59 th st bridge at night. It is spectacular and there is something about it that makes you feel like you are being helplessly drawn in and swallowed up .

My favorite view of the city is from DUMBO, especially where the Manhattan bridge perfectly frames the Empire State Building (joe's nyc • 30 July, 2004 • dumbo, brooklyn). It captures the grandeur of what it was like to see the city in the 1930s.
