A Chinese female law student from NYU, who just graduated and was about to start her new career at a New York Law firm, was hit and killed by a drunken NYPD cop last night at 3 AM.


Law grad struck and killed by car near Battery Park City; 25-year-old had whole life ahead

This is a terrible story, but let's get our facts straight. The guy was a Jersey City cop.

(maybe mod could move this to NJ forum?)

Why did he said 'Drunken NYPD Cop'? He was from NJ. Also why does he need to say she was Chinese? Does he thinks it was some sort of hate crime killing because she was Chinese?
