All human beings should learn to be less arrogant. I have know arrogant NYers over the years, and certainly see them here. And someone moves to NY is no more a guest than a NYer living in florida or california or northern virginia. I have also known NYers with poor people skills, and computer geeks with poor people skills. Even some geeky people with poor people skills who came from NY. (Good grief, I grew up in Jewish brooklyn and went to Stuyvesant).
About being deceived though, as I pointed out, it was us NYers who were deceived aboout Abe Beame. Among other things.
This picking and choosing of people for mockery based on personality types is most unattractive. fortunately most NYers in my experience don't do that.
