Hi All -

I'm driving from NYC to Vermont (Okemo) this Friday leaving at 6 p.m. (which I know is a terrible time to be leaving the city).

Any advice on which route to take to avoid as much traffic as possible?

Thanks!

Have fun skiing!

My only tip for New England is to take the Merritt Parkway through S. CT instead of 95 which has heinous traffic. The Merritt will exit onto 95 in Milford. But I don't know if you're planning on going that way--maybe you're and 84, 684 person, which I just can't understand.

Take 95n to 91 North... follow to Exit 6 in Vermont... follow Route 103 to Okemo Mountain Base!
SOOOO EASY! Cant get lost!!!
Traffic is minimal after New Haven, CT and the route is real direct!
I do this drive weekly for the last 15 years!
(I have family in Milford, Conn...)
... THE SNOW IS GREAT !!!
Enjoy the trip.
